Scottish Castle Restoration Midlothian

This 13th century peel building, with extensive grounds, overlooking the town of Penicuik required complete renovation, it being in a state or ruin. The planning process took over two years, with historic Scotland and Scottish National Heritage being involved to ensure that the proposed restoration was in keeping with the original historic fabric. Planning permission was secured in 2000.
